"Moschard baptized another child of Anabaptists in August of the same year, Elßbeth, daughter of the Anabaptists Michel Gerber in Wannenthal and Anna Gÿßler (who had been married as Anabaptists). ‘The child was given over by her cousin Peter Neüwenschwander.’"

The birth records of the children show that this family lived at Wannental (Wannenthal) at least through the birth of Magdalena. Beginning with Christian, the records show births at a place called "Egg".
There are a group of farms that are known simply by "Egg", and most likely this refers to Oberegg or one of the other houses in that area. The Einwohnerverzeichnis records confirm this house.

Michael's parents lived at Baumgarten when he was born.

At least some of Michael's children were born at Wannental. It appears that this farm eventually was transferred to his nephew, Michael, the son of his brother, Ulrich. Possibly, Peter did not live long enough to inherit this Wannental.

According to "Geschichte_der_Bernischen_Täufer (page 127)" and "Swiss and German Pioneer Settlers of Southeastern Pennsylvania" (page 127) which is largely a translation of the aforementioned book, Michael Gerber of Wannental was deported for a time from Langnau. He was listed as the son of another Michael Gerber.

Michel married Anna Gysler. Anna (daughter of Peter Gysler and Elsbeth Mueller) was born in 1675; was christened on 29 Nov 1675; died on 20 Mar 1748. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

The death record of Anna Gysler seems to show that she was 90 years old, but that does not match our records here.
