      General Notes:
BIRTH: He and his twin brother were both born premature and consequently died at birth. The doctor called the minister to come out to the farm and baptize them. The Minister could not get out to the farm and baptize the boys. He told the doctor that he could pass the authority to baptize them over the phone. The doctor would have to name them first. He named them Harold and Howard and baptized them. This information was passed on to Richard Dieken while visiting martha Anna Dieken (Pierson) in 2002.
