THE EMMA KNOBLOCH FEUCHT FAMILY


Emma Maria Knobloch, the third child of Wilhelm and Friederike Knobloch, was born September 10, 1882, in Wurttemberg, Germany. At the age of seven she came to America with her parents. Emma attended school in Cleveland and Logan Townships. She helped her parents at home until she went to do housework in Elgin, Illinois. She married Carl Feucht, son of John and Jacobena Schambach Feucht, September 22, 1904.

They farmed at Stark, Illinois for about a year and a half. Then they moved to Iowa and farmed south of Lester. They became members of the Apostolic Christian Church in September of 1906.

Emma passed away suddenly at the age of 24 years, leaving two small sons, Ernst, about one and a half years old and Ben, only a week old.
