While at the Stoeckli, we were able to drink from the famous Fluhliglas, a glass that has been in the Gerber family possession since 1736. The backside of the glass shows the early version of the Gerber crest. A translation of the front side is "To all Gerbers, good health."

Gasser, Rosa record of death
Gasser, Rosa record of death
This page from a calendar was found in a Bible once owned by Fritz Gerber, the son of Rosa. Here is a note from Peter Gerber:

The attached foto may interesse you: Its the fist page of the bible of my grandfather Fritz Gerber. He has put into that bible a sheet of a "Kalender" (a bunch of sheets, one for every day, with some informations and a short part of the bible on it). The sheet is february 2nd 1930, and he has written on it: "Der Todestag unserer lieben Mutter" (Day of death of our well-beloved mother). Seems to be the day of death of Rosa Gasser, the wife of Ulrich Gerber.

By the way: the bible seems to be much older as you can see at the bottom of the picture: Cöln (that is Köln in Germany), 1857. Maybe that is the Bible of his grandfather Christian.

Note from Tim Gerber: the date of the sheet does not match the death date on the Familienschein.
