1		Barn Door On Giebel. Barn door on the north side of Vorder Giebel. Hay can be brought in from the field and dropped down to the cows on the floor below.
2		Baumgarten Documents Here are documents brought out to us by the Gerbers living at Baumgarten.
3		Baumgarten Documents Here again are more documents from Baumgarten along with a book that tells the history of various Gerber houses.
4		Baumgarten House This is the earliest known Gerber house located in the valley of Gohlgraben, north of Vorder Giebel house. The occupants welcomed us warmly and brought out old documents for us to view.
5		Baumgarten Spiecher Here is a typical speicher outside of the Baumgarten house.
6		Giebel Barn This is the barn located in the back half of Giebel. You can see some of the cows here.

8		Giebel from the East Side This photograph was taken from the east side of Giebel. On the very right side of the photograph you can see the door that leads into the barn, which is the back half of the building.
9		Giebel Furniture This is a piece of furniture that came out of Giebel. It is currently in the apartment of Fritz Gerber. It appears to be dated 1788.
10		Giebel on the East Side This photograph was taken from the stoeckli.
11		Giebelchelle Stove Here is the stove located in Giebelchelle with an inscription from 1857.
12		Giebelkellen House This is another Gerber house called Giebelkellen. It is an early childhood home of Christian Gerber, father of Ernst Gerber. Inside the home is an old stove with an inscription on it of Niklaus Gerber and Barbara Aeschlimann. There was an elderly woman living here with her son. The woman was peeling potatoes to feed to their cattle to ease their stomachs.

15		Group conversation at Baumgarten. At this table, you will find occupants of Baumgarten as well as our group. You can see how friendly they were to our group who showed up unexpectedly and were complete strangers. This was the way we were received everywhere we went.

19		Lock on inside of the Speicher This old lock was mounted on the Speicher door, and there is a secret way of unlocking it. There appears to be a date of 1640 on it with the initials H and R.
20		Niklaus Gerber Inscription This inscription was found in the barn of another Gerber house, and it is dated 1806.

23		Southeastern View from Stoeckli This is the southeastern view from Stoeckli. You can see the Alps in the distance.
24		Southern View from Stoeckli This view is of the south and was taken from the Stoeckli. You can see the Spiecher.
25		Spiecher This is a special type of storage barn traditionally located next to the farm house. This barn shows a painted inscription from Michael Gerber.
26		Spiecher Door Here is the door of the Spiecher showing the inscription and date the barn was built.
27		Stoeckli Inside View This photograph shows some of the interior of the Stoeckli. You will notice a loft area. Tom Gerber is the person you see in this photograph.
28		Stoeckli Living Room This is the living room area of the Stoeckli. It is in this room where the early ETF church (Neutauefer church) met. It is known as Apostolic Christian Church in the USA.
29		Stoeckli Photograph This photograph is of the Stoeckli, which is a retirement home for the previous occupant of the main house. Once the house is handed down to the youngest male child, the parents move into the Stoeckli. The early "Gemeinschaft Evangelisch Taufgesinnter" or "Fröhlichianer" church met here. In the United States, the church is known as the Apostolic Christian Church.
30		Tom Gerber with an Entlebucher Sennenhund. This dog was at Giebel, presumably lives there. The Sennenhund is a Swiss mountain cattle dog. More information on this breed can be found at www.entlebucher.org
