  [schlotfeldt.FTW] [Brøderbund WFT Vol. 6, Ed. 1, Tree #3710, Date of Import: Jan 30, 2001] Church archives of the reformed township Wuesten (Lippe) about the family Rasche indicate that "Farmer Simon" and Farmer Christoph Pecher were witnesses to the Christening of Simon's brother Karl Wilhelm Christoph. Per my aunt Dayle Schlotfeldt Townsley, daughter of one of Simon's daughters, Alvina, (my grandmother) These church records were found in the Bible of August Rasche. August was Alvina's first cousin. "Uncle Ferd Rasche paid August's way to the U.S. and also paid for his brother and two sisters. One of the two I believe is still living in Florida" 1960s note Original records were written in German and Dayle's cousin, Hilda Bray had them translated.
