...for Benedicht’s son, Benedict Baumgartner born 5 March 1825 – died 1870 in Marion Township, Clayton County, Iowa, he is buried in the Apostolic Church Cemetery, in Marion Township, Clayton County, which is a rural cemetery about 3 miles from where I live in Elgin, Iowa. (Your birthdate for him is 15 March 1825 but the Apostolic Cemetery records list 5 March. Elgin is actually in Fayette County and Marion Township is right on the county line.
This date was changed based off of Connie's information which is deemed to be more reliable. She claims to have obtained the records from cemetery records.
