      General Notes:
BIOGRAPHY: Joseph Dieken was a tail gunner in the Army Air Corps during WWII. They were on a bombing mission and the plane was shot down. The ammunition beside him was hit and he was wounded. The power to live took over. He crawled out of the gun housing and managed to get the parachute. He got one hook snapped and bailed out. The shoot opened and he descended down and was captured by the Germans. He spent the rest of the war in a German prison camp.
